Her candles are full of lovingly worked out details. It often takes months to create an artwork from beautiful flowers. First, the appropriate flowers are selected or even planted before in order to make new creations.

The process of drying is extremely difficult and requires a lot of patience.

The flowers' unique textures and the incredible range of colours inspired "Schwarze Katze" to experiment with synthetic resin to capture and preserve the magic and beauty of spring.

Today she is a master of her craft, but she remains modest: "I want to keep learning and I'm always happy to try something new."
